The committee meets to review the overall goals for the year.

1. closely monitor and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum, Kindergarten through 8th grade;
2. to update the district assessment and performance standards

PURPOSE OF COMMITTEE
General discussion regarding the tasks of the committee:

• Direct the textbook adoption and make recommendations to the Board
• Define proficiency and which multiple assessments will be used
• Assist with staff development design

It was general consensus that the above list would be the main focus of the committee and priorities would be established at the next meeting.
